Lack of exercise can have a very detrimental effect on one’s mental health. It’s long been understood that exercise is extremely beneficial for both one’s physical and mental health. However, the question of how a person’s mental state is affected when they give up exercise altogether is a topic that hasn’t been adequately explored.

According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of Adelaide, ceasing all forms of vigorous physical activity can cause an individual to develop depressive symptoms. Read more HERE.
